Forsythe finished 7-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forsythe defeated Cailey Locke (St. John's, NL) 8-6, then won 10-5 against Ava Beausoleil (Saskatoon, SK). Forsythe went on to lose 9-6 against Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB). Forsythe responded with a 8-7 win over Kate Weissent (Halifax, NS). Forsythe won 6-5 against Dominique Vivier (Oakville, ON), then won 11-2 against Sophie Blades (Cornwall, PEI) and 8-5 against Anne Sophie Gionest (Saguenay, QC). Forsythe won 7-5 against Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Forsythe earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the New Holland Canadian U20 Junior Championships, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 117th place overall with 12.938 total points.
