To advance to the championship game, Pendergast won 7-5 over Brian Lewis (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2025 Canadian Masters Curling Championship in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada;
 
Pendergast finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pendergast defeated Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB) 10-3, then went on to lose 7-2 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NO). Pendergast responded with a 7-6 win over Neufeld. Pendergast won 8-1 against Ed Sattelberger (Yellowknife, NT), then won 6-5 against Wayne Sangster (Truro, NS) and 5-4 against Prince Edward Island's Peter Rosseau. Pendergast won 9-4 against Ted Butler (Buckingham, QC), then won 7-2 against Brian Humble (Saskatoon, SK). Pendergast went on to lose 10-5 against Lewis in their final qualifying round match.
