To advance to the championship game, Neufeld won 9-1 over Ted Butler (Buckingham, QC) in the semifinals
 
Neufeld finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Neufeld defeated Ed Sattelberger (Yellowknife, NT) 6-3, then won 8-3 against Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB). Neufeld went on to lose 7-6 against Pendergast. Neufeld responded with a 7-6 win over Wayne Sangster (Truro, NS). Neufeld won 10-4 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NO), then won 7-1 against Brian Humble (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-1 against Brian Lewis (Ottawa, ON). Neufeld won 10-1 against Prince Edward Island's Peter Rosseau, then won 7-1 against Butler in their final qualifying round match.
 
Neufeld ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
