Caitlyn McPherson (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the Icebreaker Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-3 against Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND). of the Icebreaker Challenge in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;

McPherson finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McPherson lost 5-2 to Christina Black (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 9-4 win over Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN). McPherson went on to lose 9-2 against Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB). McPherson responded with a 7-6 win over Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

McPherson earned 5.250 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Icebreaker Challenge. For week 6 of the event schedule, McPherson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McPherson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
