To advance to the championship game, Menard won 5-3 over Julien Tremblay (Levis, QC) in the semifinals of the Invitation Valleyfield in , Quebec; and won 5-4 over Mike Kennedy (Chicoutimi, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the Invitation Valleyfield in , Quebec;
Menard finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Adam Bedard (Noranda, QC) 6-3, then won 7-2 against Anne Sophie Gionest (Alma, QC) and 6-2 against Tom Wharry (Valleyfield, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Invitation Valleyfield Championship title, Menard earned 10.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Menard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Menard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
