Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) won 6-3 over Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) in the Final of the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic, held August 7 - 10 at the Hokkaido Bank Curling Stadium in Sapporo, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Yoshimura won 9-7 over Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) in the semifinals of the Hokkaido Bank Curling Classic in Sapporo, Japan;
 
Yoshimura finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Misaki Tanaka (Aomori, JPN) 11-4, then went on to lose 8-1 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN). Yoshimura responded with a 7-2 win over Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR). Yoshimura won 10-2 against Tabata in their final qualifying round match.
