Thiesse/Dropkin finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thiesse/Dropkin defeated McKenna Nathan/Daniel Krowchuk (Sarnia, ON) 9-1, then won 5-4 against Terri Weeks/Sam Steep (Kitchener, ON) and 9-1 against Michelle Butler/Jerry Butler (Guelph, ON). Thiesse/Dropkin won 8-6 against Kira Brunton/Victor Pietrangelo (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Kitchener-Waterloo, Thiesse/Dropkin take home 21.450 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Thiesse/Dropkin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
