Kim/Jeong went on to lose 7-6 against Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Kim/Jeong responded with a 12-4 win over Harley Scebbi/Vincent Scebbi (Cleveland , OH). Kim/Jeong went on to lose 6-5 against Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kim/Jeong earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 20 of the event schedule, Kim/Jeong did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 8th to 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 110.850 total points.
