To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 9-3 over Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland; and won 10-1 over Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) in the quarterfinals. of the Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland;
 
Tirinzoni finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Verena Pfluegler (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 9-1, then won 8-1 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) and 7-4 against Sarah Mueller (Lucerne, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
