Rob Retchless (Kent, ENG) qualified for the Prague Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against David Jakl (Prague, CZE).

Retchless finished 5-0 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retchless defeated Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK) 11-2, then won 9-7 against Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) and 7-3 against Jaroslav Vedral (Prague, CZE). Retchless won 8-7 against Andrin Schnider (Limmattal, SUI), then won 6-2 against Alberto Pimpini (Pinerolo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Retchless earned 3.900 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prague Classic.
