6-5 to Glen Despins (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) where Ryan responded with a 7-1 win over Wayne Middaugh (Midland, ON). Ryan won 8-7 against Mark Dacey (Halifax, NS), then won 6-4 against Norway's Pal Trulsen in their final qualifying round match.
