Shawna Simpson (Martensville, SK) run at the Curlers Corner U20 Womens Junior Bonspiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-2 loss to Alena Yurko (Sherwood Park, AB).

Simpson finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simpson defeated Christina Power (Calgary, AB) 1-0, then won 9-2 against Taylor Sanderman (Airdrie, AB) and 7-1 against Brenna Guglielmin (Calgary, AB). Simpson went on to lose 10-1 against Yurko in their final qualifying round match.

Simpson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
