To advance to the championship game, Reese-Hansen won 5-4 over Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the Clarion Cup in Rimbey, Alberta; and won 7-2 over Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the Clarion Cup in Rimbey, Alberta;
Reese-Hansen finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reese-Hansen defeated Skrlik 11-1, then went on to lose 5-3 against Nicky Kaufman (Yellowknife, NT). Reese-Hansen responded with a 10-3 win over Nancy Hansen (Rimbey, AB). Reese-Hansen won 6-1 against Leslie Hammond (Leduc, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Clarion Cup, Reese-Hansen take home 15.400 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. Reese-Hansen move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 10.825 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 26th overall with 129.707 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Reese-Hansen ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 89.300 points earned so far this season.
