To advance to the championship game, Gim won 9-5 over Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2026 Korean National Curling Championship in Gangneung, Korea;
 
Gim finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Ayeon Kim (Uijeongbu, KOR) 9-2, then won 7-6 against Ha and 11-4 against Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR). Gim won 11-2 against Suhyeon Kim (UISEONG, KOR), then won 10-3 against Soyeon Kim (Chuncheon, KOR). Gim went on to lose 4-3 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR). Gim responded with a 10-1 win over Jihyeon Oh (Daegu, KOR). Gim won 9-6 against Kang in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Korean National Curling Championship Championship title, Gim earned 53.250 world rankings points. Gim gained 262.25 points improving upon their best 0 events, though dropped 6 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 6thplace overall with 262.250 total points.
