To advance to the championship game, McPherson won 6-5 over Jamie Stewart (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the Atlantic University Championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
McPherson are currently . In their opening game, McPherson plays Stewart on Wednesday at 1pm Sam Goodine (Antigonish, NS) on Thursday at 12:30pm and Jack MacFadyen (Cornwall, PEI) at 5pm and Jack MacFadyen (Cornwall, PEI) at 5pm.
