Carter lost 8-2 to Rebecca Regan (Lower Sackville, NS) where Carter responded with a 6-2 win over Grace Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB). Carter won 8-4 against Kali Skauge (Yellowknife, NT). Carter went on to lose 12-3 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
