Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) qualified for the 2023 Canada Winter Games playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against Chris Parkinson (Courtenay, BC). of the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Summerside, Prince Edward Island;
 
Freeman finished 3-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Freeman defeated Raphael Tremblay (Chelsea, QC) 4-3, then won 4-2 against Parker Tipple (St. John's, NL) and 7-1 against Deon Laventure (Spiritwood, SK). Freeman went on to lose 6-1 against Calan MacIsaac (Truro, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
