Kwon lost 7-4 to Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon, KOR) where Kwon responded with a 13-3 win over Essay Shim (Cheongju, KOR). Kwon won 8-4 against Seulmin Park (Jeonju, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
