Dennis Graber (Kamloops, CAN) 4-2, then went on to lose 8-3 against Bob Ursel (Kelowna, BC). Fenson responded with a 7-3 win over Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Fenson won 7-6 against Fengchun Wang (Harbin, CHN). Fenson went on to lose 6-2 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC). Fenson responded with a 6-5 win over Trevor Perepolkin (Vernon, BC). Fenson went on to lose 6-2 against Jay Peachey (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fenson earned 2.150 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Fenson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fenson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
