Frazer Hare (Stranraer, SCO) qualified for the 2010 Edinburgh International playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Sandy Reid (Forfar, SCO).
 
Hare finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hare defeated Ewan MacDonald (Perth, SCO) 5-4, then won 7-1 against Italy's Marco Pascale. Hare went on to lose 7-3 against Duncan Fernie (Perth, SCO). Hare responded with a 9-1 win over England's Jamie Malton. Hare won 7-2 against Scotland's Neil Joss in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hare earned 2.850 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Edinburgh International. For week 12 of the event schedule, Hare did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hare ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
