Phillips Reaches 2011 DEKALB Superspiel Quarters

Kristen Phillips (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-2 against Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2011 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Phillips finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Phillips lost 4-3 to Brown, then responded with a 6-2 win over Manitoba's Calleen Neufeld. Phillips won 7-6 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Phillips went on to lose 8-5 against Lisa DeRiviere (Winnipeg, MB). Phillips responded with a 10-5 win over Kim Link (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Phillips earned 4.020 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. For week 28 of the event schedule, Phillips did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Phillips ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
