Cotter went on to lose 7-1 against Schlender. Cotter lost 11-5 to Alexey Tselousov (Moscow, RUS) where Cotter responded with a 6-4 win over Brad Wood (Vernon, BC). Cotter won 6-2 against Morozumi in their final qualifying round match.

Cotter earned 4.650 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Twin Anchors Invitational, remaining in 18th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 74.075 total points. Cotter ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.650 points earned so far this season.
