In their opening game, Stoughton defeated Scott Ramsay (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then won 7-3 against Scott Madams (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-2 against Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB). Stoughton won 6-4 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Stoughton earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Prairie Classic, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 270.980 total points. Stoughton ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.770 points earned so far this season.
