Johnson won 7-3 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB), then won 4-3 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Johnson earned 4.875 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the MNP Charity Classic, moving up 160 spots the World Ranking Standings into 114th place overall with 4.875 total points. Johnson ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.875 points earned so far this season.
