Galusha lost 8-2 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) where Galusha responded with a 7-5 win over Amber Holland (Kronau, CAN). Galusha won 7-4 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Galusha earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
