To advance to the championship game, Kleibrink won 10-5 over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) in the semifinals of the 2009 Canadian Curling Trials in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Kleibrink finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleibrink lost 8-3 to Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 9-6 win over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Kleibrink won 9-3 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK), then won 7-4 against McCarville. Kleibrink went on to lose 8-5 against Bernard. Kleibrink responded with a 6-5 win over Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Kleibrink won 10-9 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Kleibrink did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kleibrink ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
