Ontario's Greg Balsdon lost 6-3 to Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 20 - 23, 2012 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Greg Balsdon won 5-2 over Ontario's Jake Higgs in the semifinals of the 2012 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 4-3 over Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt in the quarterfinals.
 
Ontario's Greg Balsdon finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Greg Balsdon defeated Wes Johnson (Toronto, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Cory Heggestad (Orillia, ON). Ontario's Greg Balsdon responded with a 9-3 win over Ontario's Scott McDonald. Ontario's Greg Balsdon went on to lose 7-2 against Ontario's Jake Higgs. Ontario's Greg Balsdon responded with a 8-1 win over Mike Bryson (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Ontario's Greg Balsdon take home 4.760 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize, remaining in 23rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 53.661 total points. Ontario's Greg Balsdon ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.635 points earned so far this season.
