Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) won 8-4 over Darryl Prebble (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the COMCO Cash Spiel, held November 15 - 18, 2012 at the Stroud Curling Club in Innisfil, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ferris won 7-1 over Terry Corbin (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 COMCO Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-4 over Tim Morrison (Oshawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 COMCO Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;
 
Ferris finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Rayad Husain (Brampton, ON) 8-4, then won 7-2 against Ian Robertson (Dundas, ON) and 7-3 against Andrew Thompson (Stroud, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the COMCO Cash Spiel Championship title, Ferris earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,600CDN first prize cheque, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 11.726 total points. Ferris ranks 60th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.538 points earned so far this season.
