Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) won 6-4 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final Lawton advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Capital One Canada Cup of Curling, held November 28 - December 2, 2012 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
 
Lawton finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) 10-4, then won 8-5 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) and 6-5 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB). Lawton won 7-5 against Jones, then won 8-4 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB). Lawton went on to lose 4-3 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Capital One Canada Cup of Curling Championship title, Lawton earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 302.335 total points. Lawton ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 169.000 points earned so far this season.
