To advance to the championship game, Peterman won 8-3 over Kristen Striefel (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2012 Whitney Field Jr. Curling Classic in Lloydminister, Alberta; and won 6-5 over Brooke Tokarz (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals.
 
Peterman finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman defeated Ashley Skjerdal (Regina, SK) 10-4, then won 6-4 against Alberta's Taylore Theroux and 8-7 against Jessica Hanson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
