Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE) lost 8-5 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Players' Championship, held April 16 - 21, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Sigfridsson won 8-4 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 8-3 over Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Sigfridsson finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sigfridsson defeated Jones 5-4, then won 5-4 against Walker and 7-5 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Sigfridsson went on to lose 8-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
