Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 7-5 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Masters of Curling, held October 30 - November 3, 2013 in Abbotsford, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-3 over Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2013 Masters of Curling in Abbotsford, British Columbia; and won 6-3 over Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Masters of Curling in Abbotsford, British Columbia;
 
Homan finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan lost 8-2 to Nedohin, then responded with a 5-3 win over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Homan went on to lose 8-2 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Harnosand, SWE). Homan responded with a 9-2 win over Satsuki Fujisawa (Nagano, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Masters of Curling Championship title, Homan earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $23,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 301.820 total points. Homan ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 76.420 points earned so far this season.
