Hastings responded with a 10-2 win over Dawna Premo (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Hastings won 8-4 against Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Hastings take home 7.550 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 45.618 total points.
