Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-3 over Colleen Kilgallen (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic, held September 25 - 28, 2014 at the Granite Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McDonald won 7-2 over Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2014 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-2 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
McDonald finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Ainsley Champagne (Winnipeg, MB) 4-3, then won 8-0 against Terry Ursel (Arden, MB) and 7-3 against Lisa Menard (Dauphin , MB). McDonald won 5-3 against Robertson, then won 6-5 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic Championship title, McDonald earned 6.800 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 18th place overall with 40.498 total points. McDonald ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.800 points earned so far this season.
