To advance to the championship game, Middaugh won 7-6 over Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON) in the semifinals of the 2014 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario;
 
Middaugh finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Lisa Farnell (Hamilton, ON) 6-0, then went on to lose 6-4 against Lauren Mann (Montreal , QC). Middaugh responded with a 6-1 win over Brit O'Neill (Ottawa, ON). Middaugh won 9-3 against Kimberly Mastine (Sherbrooke, QC), then won 7-3 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic Championship title, Middaugh earned 13.260 world rankings points along with the $6,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 103.310 total points. Middaugh ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.260 points earned so far this season.
