Alina Paetz (Baden Regio, SUI) qualified for the 2015 Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Paetz finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz defeated Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) 6-4, then won 9-3 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) and 6-5 against Sidorova. Paetz went on to lose 8-6 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Paetz responded with a 8-5 win over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Paetz earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Players' Championship, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.2 after improving upon their best so far this season. Paetz ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 161.910 points earned so far this season.
