Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) won 5-2 over Sarah Wark (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, held September 19 - 21, 2014 in Surrey, British Columbia. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Liu won 8-1 over Stephanie Prinse (Chilliwack, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2014 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia; of the 2014 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;

Liu finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated LeAnne Andrews (New Westminster, BC) 6-3, then won 7-2 against Amanda Russett (Kamloops, BC) and 6-1 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Liu won 11-2 against Prinse in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Cloverdale Cash Spiel Championship title, Liu earned 2.750 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 12.358 total points. Liu ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
