Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) finished 2-4 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jentsch lost 9-5 to Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT), droppimg another game, 9-7 to Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) where Jentsch responded with a 10-7 win over Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). Jentsch went on to lose 10-9 against Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Jentsch responded with a 6-4 win over Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Jentsch went on to lose 7-3 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Jentsch earned 3.036 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Jentsch did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jentsch ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
