Groff lost 9-2 to Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) where Groff responded with a 9-6 win over Kaitlyn Payette (Brandon, MB). Groff won 9-3 against Stacy Sime (Dauphin, MB), then won 10-3 against Hanne Jensen (Dauphin, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
