Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC) finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Buchy defeated Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC) 8-7, then won 8-6 against Brent Pierce (Kelowan, BC) and 8-3 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC). Buchy went on to lose 5-3 against Jim Cotter (Vernon/Kelowna, BC). Buchy responded with a 8-6 win over Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC). Buchy went on to lose 8-6 against Dean Joanisse (Richmond, BC). Buchy lost 8-3 to Pierce in their final qualifying round match.

Buchy earned 1.288 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Buchy did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Buchy ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
