Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, CAN) won 6-3 over Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller in the Final of the World Junior Curling Championships, held February 28 - March 8, 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia.
 
Calvert finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Gaute Nepstad (Oslo, NOR) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Artur Ali (Moscow, RUS). Calvert responded with a 6-4 win over Ethan Meyers (Minneapolis, USA). Calvert won 10-1 against Robert-Kent Pall (Tallinn, EST), then won 5-1 against Amos Mosaner (Trentino, ITA) and 3-2 against Sweden's Fredrik Nyman. Calvert won 10-4 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO), then won 5-3 against Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller and 6-5 against Korea's Ki Jeong Lee in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the World Junior Curling Championships Championship title, Calvert earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 61st place overall with 34.300 total points. Calvert ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.300 points earned so far this season.
