Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) qualified for the 2015 HDF Insurance Shoot-Out playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Charley Thomas (Calgary, AB).

Brewster finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster lost 6-5 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 9-1 win over Shaun Meachem (Saskatoon, SK). Brewster went on to lose 4-3 against Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB). Brewster responded with a 5-4 win over Mick Lizmore (Edmonton, AB). Brewster won 6-3 against Glen Hanson (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Brewster earned 12.994 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the HDF Insurance Shoot-Out, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 15th place overall with 167.120 total points. Brewster ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.200 points earned so far this season.
