Sigfridsson won 6-2 against Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 10-3 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Sigfridsson went on to lose 5-4 against Erika Brown (Madison, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
