In their opening game, Roth defeated Emily Anderson (Broomall, PA) 10-6, then won 9-4 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, MN) and 12-4 against Joyance Meechai (New York, NY). Roth won 11-5 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND), then won 7-6 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). Roth went on to lose 9-5 against Brown in their final qualifying round match.
