Scheidegger finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger lost 6-5 to Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC), droppimg another game, 8-3 to Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) where Scheidegger responded with a 7-5 win over Corryn Brown (Kamloops - New Westminster - Nanaimo, BC). Scheidegger won 4-3 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
