Gaspari lost 7-5 to Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Gaspari lost 10-2 to Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) where Gaspari responded with a 8-4 win over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Gaspari went on to lose 8-5 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN). Gaspari lost 8-7 to Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gaspari earned 8.030 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 67 spots the World Ranking Standings into 181st place overall with 10.235 total points. Gaspari ranks 164th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.030 points earned so far this season.
