Sweeting finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sweeting defeated Holly Baird (Edmonton, AB) 7-3, then went on to lose 7-6 against Geri-Lynn Ramsay (Calgary, AB). Sweeting responded with a 7-4 win over Kalynn Virtue (Lethbridge, AB). Sweeting won 8-6 against Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB), then won 7-6 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Jiffy Lube Alberta Scotties, Sweeting take home 19.346 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Sweeting did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
