Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) qualified for the 2017 Boost National playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2017 Boost National in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario;

Paetz finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz lost 7-0 to Jones, droppimg another game, 7-2 to Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) where Paetz responded with a 7-4 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Paetz won 9-7 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Paetz earned 32.864 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Boost National, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 434.193 total points. Paetz ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 211.792 points earned so far this season.
