Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) won 5-3 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the 2018 Meridian Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, De Cruz won 5-2 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in the semifinals and won 7-6 over Steve Laycock (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.
