To advance to the championship game, Wark won 6-5 over Diane Gushulak (New Westminister, BC) in the semifinals
 
Wark finished 4-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . . Wark won 5-3 against Van Osch in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Wark earned 20.746 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 48.263 total points. Wark ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.746 points earned so far this season.
